Specialist Help
Under Connexions each young person who needs extra support will have the help of a Connexions Personal Adviser.
The Connexions Advisers are there to help the young person and parent where appropriate to plan for their future, overcome any barriers and contact the organisations which will help them.
Connexions Personal Advisers will have a variety of experience and many are involved in giving careers guidance. However, a young person may have more urgent personal needs such as, for example, counselling linked with alcohol or drugs issues or family circumstances. The Personal Adviser will be able to put them in touch with a relevant professional who can help.
