A pair of criminals from Hertfordshire conned several small businesses out of millions of pounds through providing them dear phone systems upgrades when not needed.

Daniel Cullen and Daniel Buttle claimed to be employed by a department of BT and informed trusting customers they will were required to swap from analogue to digital. The pair told lies and said schools and small business owners would be given the help of government funds and would get large rebates- neither of which was the case. They ended up swindling over £1 million from unwary suspects.
